The Story Behind the Piece
The inspiration for this artwork comes from a scene observed during a visit to Silent Lake Provincial Park two winters ago. My family and I are drawn to this park in the winter months, captivated by its serene beauty and tranquil atmosphere. With fewer visitors, the pristine snow blankets the landscape, offering an inviting silence and a sense of peace.

The Story Behind the Piece
This artwork captures exquisite floral still life, evoking a sense of peace, beauty and hope. The bouquet was a gift from close friends given with the intention to remind me of the hope I still hold following the death of my mom. I tried to capture the joy of what are now precious memories I will cherish always.
