A Fine Art Print is a reproduction while an Original is the actual painted artwork. All my original paintings are created using professional and archival quality paper and paint. All watercolour original paintings should be framed behind glass to protect them.

All artwork images and prints are Copyrighted to T. Cassandra De Souza.  Purchase of an original or print does not transfer copyright. No image may be reproduced, copied, resold or used fot any commercial purpose without written permission from the artist.

The prints I have listed as ‘Giclee’ are professionally prints that are made with archival pigment inks on textured watercolour paper. They look and feel very similar to original paintings, and cost more to produce than standard fine art prints.

Pricing of originals is based on complexity, the time it takes to complete, and materials.

Pricing of fine art prints is based on reproduction costs.

Paper:  Primarily Arches Aquarelle 300gsm and 640 gsm watercolour paper.  At other times I use Magnani 1404.  

Paints: Primarily Winsor Newton Series 4 and Daniel Smith Extra Fine and occasionally Holbein and M. Graham & Co. 

Brushes:  Whatever works best for the project I am on.  I currently have, among others, Winsor Newton, Fuumuui, Da Vinci, Princeton, Chinese calligraphy brushes, etc.
