Process: Dropping in the bright pink flowers 🌺 bougainvillea is famous for on this painting.

It’s amazing how bright flowers can brighten a person’s day. No wonder nature is filled with fascinating colours from creatures such as peacocks to plants.

The finished watercolour was posted last week. It was painted on 6x10 300 gsm cold pressed. I loves painting on good quality watercolour paper that allows better water control and allows for various types of washes and techniques especially in landscapes. The smaller size is just for convenience on my travels and when doing plein air which the past month has allowed for.
